Neopoetics® is a form of lava. It is a flow of sensate ideas that unearth a generative evolutionary force. The Somatic Canvas
The frame for neopoetic experience is the somatic canvas: a confluence of corporeality and extended reality that incites the transmission of sensate digital codes to the somatic nervous system, opening the body as a dynamic field for experiential poetry.
Neurosensory Choreography
The aesthetic gesture of the somatic canvas is neurosensory choreography. Traditional choreography is composed for muscular and skeletal systems, with clear delineation between performer and spectator. Neurosensory choreography is emergent kinetic design composed for the somatic nervous system. It is a neuroaesthetic expression of choreography that opens all bodies as conduits for kinetic composition. Neurosensory choreography is the inside of a dance. It is experiential archetypes of transformative motion. Kinetic gestures, patterns, rhythms, and codes shift, align, calibrate, and transform the neurosensory system.
The Rheomode
The apogee of neurosensory choreography is the neopoetic rheomode. Rheomode is a term coined by quantum physicist David Bohm, who advanced the view that quantum theory mandates a radical re-envisioning of our understanding of reality. Bohm posited that our minds are wired by the language of the particle, and that new language is required to impart the quantum wave. Rheo-mode means “flowing language,” evoking the transmission of motion, interconnection, flux, synthesis – and inviting perceptual transformation. Neopoetics expresses the rheomode as experiential poetry.
The Micromythic
The neopoetic rheomode catalyzes the micromythic: an embodied, microcosmic expression of an emergent ecology – an awakening of the wave within the shell of the particle in the space between the senses.

Neopoetics reawakens mythic essences at the core of our humanity. Synthesizing spiritual and technological currents, Neopoetics summons the ancient and archetypal into our present and future circuitries.
The Neopoetic System
Neopoetic expression arises from the generative matrix of the neopoetic system. The foundational archetype for the system is the Poetics of Aristotle and its relation to the Classical Greek mythic drama. As Aristotle's Poetics illuminates an array of elements integral to composition of the ancient poetic art (plot, character, thought, diction, song and spectacle), the neopoetic system articulates a collection of dynamic components that extend the human neurosensory system into emergent perceptual hyperspaces. The seven elements of the neopoetic system are: virtual kinesphere, essential gesture, kinetic interface, expanded embodiment, experiential metaphor, the rheomode, and the micromythic.
Evolutionary Embodiment
The human body evolves in tandem with technological advancement and its cultural shock waves. The instantiation of embodiment contemporary to 21st century culture and technology is a subtle, complex, prismatic tapestry that synthesizes the corporeal body and its subtle, outer realms: its burgeoning extended nervous system, its multifarious avatars, its cybernated acceleration, its human fragility, its fluctuations between material and immaterial aspects of being. 21st century culture and technology present a framework in which body pulsates into expanded interconnection with and through its technological media extensions and their associated cultural expressions: an embodiment that is rooted in the physical, finite, material realm – and expands into dematerialized, energetic dimensions.

Art shifts neural pathways and evolves human perception in tandem with cultural transformation. In an era of global crisis, it is essential to remember that our greatest untapped resources lie within ourselves. There is no panacea for humankind outside of or beyond the capabilities afforded by our embodiment. Further, there is nothing about human embodiment or human being that is fixed or static in any way. Human embodiment is a consummate expression of organic intelligence – a continuous interplay of flux, adaptation, symbiosis, transformation. Human being is a protean, evolutionary expression of nature. Neopoetics is a new poetic vision that ruptures the limits of our corporeality, catalyzing (r)evolutionary transformation in human embodiment and human being.
